Since “we are what we eat”, we create in our kitchen, food that nourishes all our senses and satisfies the need for elegance even on our table.
In 1970 in Athens, Michalis Pousaios started manufacturing kitchen tools based on ingenuity, innovation and affordability of products. He combined metal and plastic in the production process, to create tools that become timeless due to their usefulness and are passed down from generation to generation, due to their durability.
Investing in research, new technologies and industrial equipment, SVIM became the first kitchen utensil manufacturing company in Greece while holding a dominant position among cooking and pastry utensils’ manufacturing companies in Europe.
Since 1986, SVIM, with a strong export orientation, transferred its production process from Athens to a new privately owned building of 2500 sq. m. in Nea Santa Kilkis, creating a vertical unit to control all stages of production, to develop new products and to ensure their quality.
